Mark 8:34-35 “When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, ‘Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.’” The Word of the Lord is sure, and when the Lord speaks a word He means it. The Gospel cannot be taken lightly! Yes, we are living in the Dispensation of Grace and the Lord has an appointment for each believer to carry on the Gospel of Jesus Christ on this earth. We are in the world, but we are not of the world.
Apostle Paul said in I Corinthians 13:11, “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” The Lord is saying to us to hit the RESET BUTTON and now that we are adults, our speeh, our feelings, and thinking should not be as a child. It’s time to take inventory on our character and integrity. Do you need to give the Lord another “Yes”? Yes Lord, it’s yes when I like it, yes when I don’t like it, yes, when I understand it, and yes when I don’t understand it! This life you gave is not my own, I’m trusting you to hear my yes, and lead me on!!!
